The sensor is one part of image quality
The image sensor converts incoming light into signals used to produce the image. Its characteristics matter, but the lens, processing, recording settings, and installation also influence the result. A shared sensor name does not make two cameras equivalent.

Consider what information could be missing as well as what is saved. A condensed timeline may show broad activity without the temporal detail of ordinary video.
